Policies

 Policies, prep, and more.  

By booking with RubiScan, you agree to the following policies, and our terms of service:

 

 

Scheduling: 

Life Happens. We get it! Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge up to 24 in advance. After that, a fee will be assessed.

Reschedule / Cancelation Fees:

 

Less than 24 Hours Before Appointment:     $25

Less than   3 Hours Before Appointment:     $50

Less than    1 Hour Before Appointment:       50% of package price

Weather:

It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor the weather and adjust appointments appropriately. The standard Reschedule / Cancelation fees and policies apply for weather related scheduling changes. 

Square Footage and Coverage:

When calculating square footage, please include all spaces that you wish to have photographed, including unfinished spaces, basements, garages, storage areas, etc. If square footage is greater than anticipated, pricing will be automatically adjusted to the appropriate package. 

 

 

Site Preparation:

All spaces will be photographed “as is” at the appointment start time, and should be prepared in accordance to our Preparing For a Shoot guide.

 

RubiScan cannot help with cleaning, staging, moving furniture, or hiding personal items. Items that need to be blurred, removed, or “photoshopped” out during the edit process will incur a $30 fee per item. Items cannot be removed or blurred in a Matterport tour. 

On Site Contact:

We strongly encourage the customer or a representative to be on site during the appointment to approve shots and handle any issues. 

 

If no-one is on site, customer must be available via phone. We will use our best judgment to photograph the property as is, however, we cannot guarantee specific shots or angles. If a reshoot is necessary, an additional fee will be applied.

 

If no-one is on site and the photographer cannot access the property, the appointment will be canceled and the standard 50% of package price fee will be applied. 

 

Pets:

All pets must be contained in a secure room or crate during shooting.

 

Drone:

All pilots must strictly adhere to FAA Part 107 Rules, local laws, and weather conditions. If for any reason the pilot determines that it is unsafe or illegal to fly, a refund of $100 will be issued to the customer. 

 

Ownership and Copyright:

RubiScan retains ownership and copyright of all images and content. Customer may not distribute/sell the images to any third parties such as stagers, interior designers, contractors, construction companies, magazines, advertising agencies, etc.

Delivery and Billing:

All packages will be delivered via email. All orders must be payed in full prior to images being released to customer. We strive to deliver in 24 hours, but in some cases, it may take a little longer. 

Hosting:

Matterport Virtual Tours will be hosted for one year from capture date. Hosting can be renewed for a fee by contacting us at support@RubiScan.com prior to the expiration date.
